With over 20 years of litigation experience, Marilyn Morris knows how to negotiate agreements and solve problems while helping clients reach their business and/or real estate goals. She can prepare, negotiate, field problems, and give sound advice on businesss issues of all type, including internal owner disputes, contact problems, and  purchases and sales. 

 

For real estate needs, she can address purchases and sales, due, lending issues, on-going owner issues,  commercial leases, including retail and office uses. Marilyn has represented businesses with multiple properties as well as shopping center owners.  Marilyn is skilled at working with opposing attorneys and instills confidence in her clients by her breadth of experience and know-how. Her approach regularly frees clients from time consuming and expenses legal conflicts.

Having once had significant experience in litigation with a winning record, Marilyn is uniquely capable of pre-litigation dispute resolution. She is often asked to also advise business owners and management on a wide range of general business and real estate issues including general contracts, employment concerns, investigation and defense of discrimination and sexual harassment claims and litigation management.

  • Resolution of unusual dispute between developer and timeshare owners relating to payment of monthly dues.

  • Successful acquisitions and sales of real estate, including raw land.

  • Negotiations on title, easements and liens with title insurers in real estate transactions.
